Janene was a great hostess. all the staff are friendly and courteous.
The locals (including Poro) are very helpful.
The fishing with captain Alistair and GF Erin was way over what we expected, we set a resort record at 180KG of dressed yellowfin tuna in 1 session.
i have travelled the world however this place has a solid spot in my heart.
the rooms could improve with softer beds and better pillows-otherwise it is all rustic yet 5 star for the inteprid traveller in my estimation. For example the bathrooms walls are clad in coral.
The food is 5 star- better than Tokyo 3 michelin star joints with fresh ( I MEAN REALLY FRESH OFF THE BOAT 30 MINUTES AGO) tuna sahimi a mainstay -including fresh cut wasabi and soy sauce.

If you want to go game fishing this is the place to go. We had five days fishing, hooked up every day, 4 marlin, 2 mahimahi, 1 wahoo, and 4 yellow fin tuna. All we had to do was get there and the rest was taken care of, Brilliant.
The rooms were comfortable and clean, the staff were really friendly and helpful. The food was good. Ok we had excellent weather and this can’t be guaranteed but that’s the chance you take. Highly recommend this whole adventure. We would go again.

The team and fishing at Trees and Fishing Lodge were second to none, accommodating for all of our needs in a super friendly manner.
My wife and I spent 4 days as part of our honeymoon, and had an amazing time together.
Situated in a tranquil, tropical paradise it truly made for a romantic getaway for us both.
The fresh food and Island life was an incredible experience and we will definitely return.

We loved our stay at Trees and Fishes and will absolutely be back. The resort itself is beautiful and in an amazing location. The staff were so helpful, friendly and genuine and made us feel at home. Awesome fishing experience, me and my dad went for 5 days and had a ball, fishing was good met good friends and staff and food were excellent! Couldn’t recommend another great fishing experience in Vanuatu, have activities on offer to go into villages or ww2 museums

I can’t recommend this place enough! My partner and I had a couples trip here. We loved every minute. From the exceptional, professional and knowledgeable fishing guides (a shoutout to Alli our guide), to the delicious food , incredible views , delicious cocktails , impeccable rooms and extra friendly and helpful staff (Erin was amazing and made our trip so special).
