Grilled mango, southern comfort honey glaze, icing sugar

With 6 mango trees around the retreat one can say that mangoes are plentiful at the moment. But what to do with so many of them? I wanted to make a dessert that truly brought out the mango ness without having to bake it or mix it with another ingredients. Now why not try this one:
Grilled mango, southern comfort honey glaze, icing sugar
Ingredients:
- 4 ripe mangoes
- Southern Comfort 60ml
- Splash of lime juice
- Teaspoon of sugar
- Honey
- Sesame seeds
- Icing sugar for the final touch
Directions
Heat the grill to medium for direct grilling. Slice the mangoes in 2 pieces from the pit. Score the flesh of the mangoes in a criss cross pattern, taking care not to cut into the skin. Pop the flesh by holding the skin side and pushing up. Place cut-side down on grill, until slightly charred, about 1 minute.
In a saucepan on low heat, mix your Southern comfort, lemon juice, honey & sesame seeds and bring to the boil.
Transfer the mangoes to a platte and immediately drizzle with the Southern comfort, honey juice and sprinkle with icing sugar. Serve with your favourite vanilla ice cream
